Baltic Amber collars are an excellent layer of protection against fleas and ticks, as part of a layered natural pest prevention approach.
Amber collars work in two ways:
when the amber (which is a natural gemstone formed by tree sap) gently rubs against your dog's fur, a scent is released. We can't smell it, but ticks and fleas can, and they don't like it!
fleas and ticks dislike the slightly static field given off by the amber chips.
Our current Baltic Amber collar stock are made using top quality Amber, and are a very high quality product. We hope to produce these ourselves soon!
